Winter in Montana. A 2.2 mile walk in a foot of fresh snow and this at the end. No people for 4 hours except the friend that hiked with me. Life is good.

That sure sounds good to me. I took a shorter hike this morning in the White Mountain National Forest. There were people on the trails and only a dusting of snow in the woods. I sat for a while on a rock surrounded by at water fall and the noise drowned every other sound out. It is a bit early for a foot of snow out here in New Hampshire. Even still, there is nothing like a walk in the woods to heal the soul.

No exercise for me this weekend—when I went outside I wore an N95 mask, because we are 240 miles downwind of the Camp Fire.
